Master in Membrane Engineering for Sustainable Development – MESD granted and first cohort open for application
We are pleased to inform you that the Master in Membrane Engineering for Sustainable Development - MESD proposal has successfully passed the evaluation phase of the Erasmus + program, Erasmus Mundus Joint Masters 2022. The program is a European Union-funded advanced education program related to membrane science and engineering, acting at the interface between material science and chemical engineering. The program lasts two years and focuses on specific fields: Energy, Food, Bio and Health, and Water. Seven higher education institutions out of six countries provide the education in the MESD program: University of Montpellier (France, coordinator), University Toulouse III-Paul Sabatier (France), University of Chemistry and Technology Prague (Czech Republic), Universidade Nova de Lisboa (Portugal), Universidad de Zaragoza (Spain), University of Twente (the Netherlands), and Lund University (Sweden).
The WA-MS offered to support the MESD Master with technical input (external lectures and seminars), support the MESD events via its website, and help students connect with experts via WA-MS’ network with various societies, industries, and academic/research institutes.
The call for applications for the first cohort (2023-2025) is already open. The deadline for submission of applications for admission with scholarship is January 31, 2023.
